The printed version of the book should begin shipping by August 20th!

Any idea when Amazon is going to start shipping. I pre-ordered on 8/16 and the order details say 8/30. That seems a bit far if O'Reilly is already shipping.

I really don't know. I just wrote the thing. :) The book is in print. I have a copy. That means it's gone to someone's warehouse. Then it has to go to Amazon's warehouse so they can ship it to you. Can you check with Amazon customer service perhaps?
